LAPP ROBUST Cable Solutions

LAPP's ROBUST series consists of cable and connector solutions for power, control and data transmission, as well as bus, sensor and Ethernet connections for a wide range of harsh condition environments.

Thanks to their chemical resistance, as well as being highly ozone, UV and weather resistant in compliance with EN 50396 and HD 605 S2 the ROBUST products are certified to be suitable for wet cleaning in the food and beverage industry in accordance with ECOLAB, European and North American standards. And in contact with hot steam, it has a service life 10 times greater than normal rubber or polyurethane sheathed cable. This makes the ROBUST series ideal for use in machine tool manufacture, food & beverage, the chemical industry, medical engineering, laundries, car wash systems, composting and sewage plants and agricultural machinery. Tests at LAPP, for example, show that UVC radiation can change both the optical and technical properties of cables. Is that a problem? Not for LAPP, because all cable types from our ROBUST series have passed the test with flying colours! With the UNITRONIC^® ROBUST, Lapp has extended its range of low-frequency data network cables with a cable featuring a special resistant sheath material for use in particularly harsh environments. The material is resistant to a range of chemical media, as well as being ozone, UV and weather resistant in compliance with EN 50396 and HD 605 S2. This makes it ideal for use in machine tool manufacture, the chemical industry, medical engineering, food and beverage, laundries, car wash systems, composting and sewage plants and agricultural machinery.
