ECS are now offering the original TY-RAP® cable ties.
TY-RAP® from Thomas and Betts are the inventors of the metal tongue technology. TY-RAP’s have a small metal tongue in the head of each cable tie, as you do-up the cable tie the metal penetrates into the plastic and ensures the cable tie will never un-do.
Even when subject to long-term UV or harsh environmental conditions the TY-RAP® will hold. The TY-RAP® product was initially designed in 1958 for airplane wire harnesses, and is now the #1 product used for industrial installations.
